On Sunday, October 1st, 2023, at our 10:30 am service, Firm Foundation will have its semi-annual Sacrifice Through Campaign to support the Vision, Mission and Mandate of Firm Foundation Christian Fellowship!
What is the Sacrifice Through Giving Campaign?
Let’s explain! Most churches have pledges, and other activities, but we have designated two Sundays out of the years as a time of giving unto the LORD for the mission and vision of our church!
Sacrifice through Giving is a time that we as a body of believers, and church, come together in unity to give as unto the LORD, following the Biblical example of the people of God, as they unified to build:
The Tabernacle, the Temple and the most importantly the unity of the first church in Acts Chapter 2 and Chapter 4!
Read the following scriptures: Exo 35:4-29, Exo 36:2-7, 1 Chron 29:1-9, and 1 Chron 29:10-16, Acts 2:42-47, and Acts 4:32-37
The Bible says in Hab 2:2, Then the LORD answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.
Hab 2:3 says, ” For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.
This is a time to PRAY, PLAN, and GIVE our best to BUILD! Sacrifice Sunday giving supports the mission/vision of FFCF. Every dollar will go toward Kingdom building as we endeavor to:
a. Purchase land or building to have our own House of God and base of operations for Kingdom ministry.
b. Building up our vision fund to meet the needs of the church, our congregation and community, and to bring to the vision of the church which consist of areas of the vision that have not yet come to pass to this date:
AAACE mentoring program, recreation/youth activities center, counseling services, computer and job skills training, food pantry and ministry bus.
Every believer has been given a gift to use for the glory of God. Pray and ask the LORD what he would have you to do concerning the vision with your time, talents or treasure according to Exo. 36:5-7, Luke 6:38, Acts 20:35, and Gal 6:7-10
We believe that true giving is worship! For God loves a cheerful giver according to 2 Corinthians 9:8-10. No gift is too big or small.
