Blessings to you!
The Bible says in Hab 2:2 Then the LORD answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.
Hab 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.
On this Sunday, October 18, 2020, FFCF will have its semi-annual Sacrifice through Giving Sunday in support of the Nehemiah Community Building Project mission/vision. What is Sacrifice through Giving Sunday? Let’s explain! Most churches have pledges, and other activities. FFCF follows the biblical precedent set in the Old/New Testament when all the believers came together to give for the work of the tabernacle, temple and the first church in Acts! Read the following scriptures: Exo 35:4-29, Exo 36:2-7, 1 Chron 29:1-9, and 1 Chron 29:10-16 and Acts 4:32-37 and Acts 5:1-11.
It is a time that we as a church follow the Biblical example of the Saints in the Old and New Testament, who came together as a people and church to give their best sacrificial offering in support of the work of the ministry and the Gospel of the Kingdom! (Prov 3:9-10 and Prov 11:24-26)
Giving and ministry support. Your generous gifts of love through tithes, offering, and sacrificial giving help us to do Kingdom ministry, maintain our facility, do outreach, provide benevolence to those in need, special holiday blessings and fellowship for the ministry.
It is our Christian duty and obedience to the LORD as Kingdom citizens members to give, which not only serves a good purpose for the church, but God blesses your life as a result of your obedience to his Word! Remember that God loves a cheerful giver! (Luke 6:38 , 2 Cor 9:5-12 and Gal 6:7)
This is our season to pray, plan and build! Some of the priority areas that we have identified and targeted for our upcoming sacrifice Sunday giving for the mission/vision are below. Every dollar will go toward Kingdom building.
a. Purchase of land and building to have our own Church and land! (planning in progress)
d. Updating the landscape appearance of the church so that it has an excellent look and appeal in our community. (partially completed)
