“Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it, because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; but the just shall live by his faith. Hab 2: 2-4

As we transition into 2024, I believe that it is important to prepare a vision for yourself and your family. It could be spiritual, physical, financial, family or personal!

Spiritual goals could be a desire to draw nearer to the Lord through prayer, studying the word more, reading the bible, fulfilling a call unto the LORD, or growing stronger in the faith. It is anything that draws you nearer to God and helps you spiritually.

Physical goals could be a desire to get into shape and to eat right. Most Christians are in shape spiritually, but not physically. This means taking care of your body which is God’s temple. It means eating right and taking care of yourself. The Bible says that you are the temple of the Holy Spirit! Write a vision, plan or goals to get yourself into shape, going to the gym, working out, or taking a walk daily. You will add years to your life!

Financial goals could be getting out of debt, becoming financially free, debt free, less spending in the world, and more sowing for the Kingdom of God. Desire to actually be the head and not the tail, above and not beneath, a lender and not a borrower! Let’s become less materialistic and more Kingdom minded!

Family goals can be plans; goals are a corporate vision for the household. It consists of things that we want to accomplish in our household or as a family.

Personal goals could be something you desire to do personally, such as going back to school, writing a book, buying a home, starting a business, expanding a business, or anything that you desire to see come to pass in your life!

The Bible says to write the vision and make it plain. Why? So, you can see it every day. Post it, put it on your phone, your back door, or wherever you can view it!  Begin to believe it, decree it and say it out of your mouth.  Can you see yourself financially free, with your own business,  going back to school, or in that new home? Whatever you are endeavoring to achieve!!!
